Ben, the food lover…

There's a lot of fruit here, but unfortunately they are not all very sweet… The producers pick them a little too early.

We haven't been able to do much shopping this first week... We've enjoyed simple meals, like bread and cheese... You may notice that in the picture the bread looks a little burnt... as we bought it from the street, we toasted it a bit on the stove to kill off the germs :-)

We also ate in a few local restaurants... Ben enjoyed the jelaby from an indian place...

Ben, fan de nourriture…

Il y a beaucoup de fruits ici, mais malheureusement il ne sont pas tous très sucrés… Les producteurs les récoltent trop tot !

On n’a pas l’occasion de faire beaucoup d’achats cette première semaine… on s’est contenté de repas simples comme du pain et du fromage (le fromage est un luxe ici)… Vous remarquerez que le pain dans la photo a l’air un peu brulé… étant donné qu’on l’a acheté dans la rue, on l’a grillé sur la flame de la gazinière pour tuer les microbes :-)

On a aussi découvert quelques restos locaux… Ben a savouré un Zlabia d’un petit resto indien…
