Sylviane in Mada part 2 - Sambaina

Première expérience en Taxi-brousse pour Sylviane... Les baggages bien attachés sur le toît du minibus, nous avons pris la route pour l'Université Adventiste Zurcher à Sambaina accompagnés de quelques étudiants rentrant de vacances.

Sur la route nous avons pu admirer le palais présidentiel de loin (son architecture est inspirée du palais de la Reine à Tana) et à la fin de notre parcours nous avons eu droit à un beau coucher de soleil.

First Taxi-brousse experience for Sylviane... Once all the luggage was secured on the roof of the van, we took off for the Adventist University Zurcher in Sambaina, along with a few students returning from their holidays.

On the way we were able to admire the Presidential palace from afar (its architecture is inspired by the Queen's palace in Tana) and at the end of our trip we were granted a beautiful sunset.

Nous sommes arrivés chez les Pelayo à temps pour le dîner.

We arrived at the Pelayo's in time for dinner.

Le lendemain matin, nous avons tout juste eu le temps de faire une visite éclair du campus avant de reprendre la route : dehors, les nombreux pins et les belles fleurs des jardins; dedans, Mme Pelayo à l'oeuvre dans sa bibliothèque et la petite Anneanne jouant dans sa cabane...

Next morning, we had just enough time for a quick tour of the campus before getting back on the road: outside, the numerous pine trees and the beautiful flowers in the gardens; inside, Mrs Pelayo in action in the library and little Anneanne playing in her wooden house...
