Et voici notre palace… en devenir !

Le plan du proprio était d’en faire un hôtel… bon plan, puisque beaucoup de touristes passent par Ambositra pour aller vers Tana au Nord ou Fianarantsoa au Sud. Au cours des travaux, il a changé de plan... finalement c’est ADRA qui loue le bâtiment pour en faire des bureaux et des appartements pour le directeur du Project, Ben et moi et une autre personne. Les travaux ayant pris du retard, c’est dans un immeuble en construction qu’on a emménagé.
Etant donné que le plan d’origine était pour un hôtel, toutes les pièces ont une salle de bain. Heureusement, dans la plupart des bureaux l’installation n’était pas encore faite, du coup les salles de bain potentielles sont converties en placards… mais dans d’autre cas, c’est trop tard. Par exemple, chez nous, on aura une grande salle de bain dans notre cuisine. Quand à la cuisine elle-même, c’est une chambre reconvertie…

The original plan of the owner was to build a hotel… pretty good plan as many tourists stop by Ambositra to either go to Tana up north or Fianarantsoa towards the south. While he was building, he changed the plan… in the end, it’s ADRA who is renting the place for offices and flats for the project director, Ben and I, and another person. The building work was delayed, so we moved into a flat in construction.
As the original plan was for a hotel, all the rooms have a bathroom. Luckily, in most of the offices, nothing was installed yet, so what was to be a bathroom is now a cupboard… but in other cases, it’s too late ! For example, in our kitchen there is a big bathroom! As for the kitchen, it’s a reconverted bedroom…
